Yesterday, 14th June, 3/4FC visited the Life Education Van. We learnt all about being “cyber wise”. Our teacher’s name was Isabella. She showed us a video which taught us all about the importance of not putting any of our personal information online. We also learnt about how to create passwords. We worked in groups to create different passwords. Here are some of the responses from the students about their visit to the Life Education Van:

I had a great time! I enjoyed making the passwords. Some were really silly and I had lots of fun! – Charlie

We learnt about things we should do if a stranger is online and asks for your personal information. My favourite part was when we watched clips about cyber safety. – Leila

We met Harold at the end of our session. – Darcy

We got to do many great activities including making our own passwords and thinking if it would be safe to share information with other people. When the lights were switched off, we could see so many stars up on the ceiling! – James

We had a great time in the Life Education Van!

It was very interesting and educational to learn about being “cyber wise”. – Isabel

I loved the life education van because it taught me about being safe online and I play lots of online games. I also liked creating new passwords for Kate. I still remember mine. I think it was awesome that the Life Ed Van came to our school.

It’s good to learn about what we should do online and what not to, making our own passwords was also fun but we only got to see Harold at the end of the lesson.
